Common Course
We offer a Common Course for a three month period, which can be on a weekly or a part time basis. The Common Course consist of Music Theory, Composition, Production in Groups and Song Writing. Included is the option to choose either to learning an instrument or to do Voice Training or Dance Training. Common Course students also get to Participate in The London Academy of Music Festival/Showcase
Music Production
Our Music Production course covers all aspects of recording, mixing and mastering, composition or song are made up of the instruments (guitar, drums, bass, keyboards) and the vocals. The music production course allows you to amalgamate the sounds for each track, arrange them, mix them for a professional effect. At the heart of this you will use a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) on either a Mac, PC, tablet or iPad. Music Production students get to Film and Record Final Performance.
Music Theory
Gives you an insight into the fundamental of music theory; rules of harmony, music notations and ear training. The course covers what you need to develop and understand your musical skills.
Musical Composition
Composing original pieces of music and creating the structure of musical pieces.
Production in Groups
Our Production in Groups offers the opportunity to make music in a group. It covers aspects of recording, mixing and mastering.
Composition or songs are made up of the instruments (guitar, drums, bass, keyboards etc.) and the vocals. Our production in groups course process helps you to get the sounds together for each track, arrange them, mix them together and make them sound professional.
At the heart of this you will use a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) on either a Mac, PC, tablet or iPad.
Song writing
The course helps you to develop your song writing skills, as well as get ideas from structure, music around you and use melody and lyrics.
